May we extend a warm welcome
to The Dental Pratice Care Plan for Children andYoung Adults.

We take a great pride in the quality of
our dentistry and want to make visits a
pleasant experience.

Our aim is good dental health for you
and your family through preventive
dentistry
. This means giving regular
dental advice and showing you how to
properly look after your teeth.

This leaflet will tell you briefly about the way we work and the services we offer for
children and young adults, but if you need further information, please don’t hesitate
to ask. We are always willing to answer your questions and will be happy to discuss
individual requirements at any time.

Our range of services

At The Dental Practice we offer private treatment which means that we can devote
more time, better prevention and offer more choice.

We offer subsidised dentistry for children and young adults which is based
ona simple and reasonably priced monthly subscription scheme administered by
Denplan Ltd who are market leaders in this field. The subscription rates are in three
bands according to dental health.

We have our own fully qualified Hygienist and keep a good range of dental care
products
to help look after your teeth between visits.

The practice is well equipped and complies with the latest good practice guidelines.
High standards of sterilisation are maintained to ensure maximum patient protection.

The Dental Practice has also achieved Denplan Excel accreditation, a practice
standard approved by The Patient’s Association which recognises a very high
standard of care and service.

The Dental Practice Care Plan
for Children and Young Adults

We are delighted to offer children and young adults the care, treatment and support necessary to control dental disease. Just as importantly regular visits will encourage young people to gain confidence in seeing the dentist. Encouraging them to overcome any shyness or fear helps give them the confidence to ask questions. This means that the dentist can help them understand how to take best care of their teeth themselves, now and in the future.

Our modern health promoting approach means:

• Fewer fillings
• Less dental decay
• Less likelihood of toothache
• More attractive teeth
• More choice

The Dental Practice Care Plan for Children and Young Adults is designed to allow us to provide the most appropriate dental care programme for an individual. This means that your dentist aims to stop problems before they arise as well as provide prompt treatment when necessary.

Our plan provides the following benefits:

• Private dentistry
• Regular dental examinations
• X-rays if required
• More time to help prevent decay and gum disease
• Greater choice of treatment and materials
• Convenient appointments
• 24 hour worldwide emergency dental helpline
• Accident and emergency cover in the UK and abroad
